Hey, EPIC, I just got done looking at your post on Kongregate and I am willing to give you a shot. However, I would like to see some samples though just to make sure you are the type of person we're looking for.

Hi,

OK, I finally registered for the forums. So, I'd like to apply for freelance "jack of all trades." I would mostly like to work on writing and on refining the ideas in the game. I don't have anything on hand to send you. I'm 26 now, but a decade ago I had a regular article in a monthly Torontonian newspaper magazine called The Perspectives. I don't have any way of getting it sent to you now. I also have dabbled in creative writing (fantasy, science fiction) my whole life.

I think I could be a real asset to the team. My most prized asset has always been creativity which manifests itself in manifold ways. But, more than anything, I think I would bring a certain enthusiasm to the team. My passion is creating games and I've been doing it in simplified ways since I was 6 years old. As you said, Last Haven is full of original material and content, so it's an exciting project to join.

I'd love to see your work as soon as you can, and seeing as your wanting to help out with pretty much everything does seem like a valubale asset. I'll talk with the other heads and see about this asap.

Well, this game is definitely more Sci-Fi than fantasy so whatever you send in should try to show your expertise as a writer. If you need something to work off of try this...

Your mission was a simple one. The Queen told you to find out who is attacking its towns on this new planet and to report back to them. You thought this was going to be a simple task, but it was the hardest task you have ever taken.

Well, there is something right off the top of my head to work off of. Use it if you want or make something up.

Hey, thanks for you interest in Last Haven!

As you may or may not know, Last Haven is being built in 3D so it'll be great if you can provide some 3D SFX examples.
